COUNCIL PUBLIC MEETING – February 9, 2011

The purpose of the Council Public Meeting held on February 9, 2011 was to receive comments from the public on the proposed subject applications that have been received by the Town from Corsica Developments Inc. for the lands known as Part of Lots 42 and 43, Concession 1, E.Y.S , 123 Hillsview Drive.

Thanks for submitting written comments and making oral delegations to Council at that meeting. Your physical presence in attending the Council Public Meeting is much appreciated.

FUTURE COUNCIL MEETING FOR DECISION –  NOT YET SCHEDULED

An additional staff report will be prepared by the Town’s Planning and Regulatory Services Department respecting the proposed development applications and will be considered at a future Committee of the Whole
Meeting. The date of this meeting has not yet been determined, however all persons who are on record as having an interest in this matter will receive notification of when this matter will be presented for further
consideration by Council.

OMB PRE-HEARING DATE –  JUNE 2 AND 3, 2011

Ontario Municipal Board has advised that the pre-hearing of Corsica’s appeal, initially scheduled for May 10, 2011, has been re-scheduled for June 2 and 3, 2011 as the pre-hearing is expected to last more than one day.  The actual hearing dates have not been scheduled at this time.
