As a strong advocate for the Yonge Subway Extension to Richmond Hill, I have initiated the Yonge North Group comprised of Councillors of Markham and Vaughan to work together to secure Federal and Ontario Governments’ commitment to construct the much-needed link to the “Union Station of the North” at Richmond Hill Centre on Highway 7.

As well, I collaborate with business and resident groups such as The South Central York Region – Congestion Relief Committee (SCYR-CRC) that represents 10 ratepayers and residents associations across York Region with the mandate to ensure our community’s concerns and suggestions for transportation improvements are heard by elected officials at all levels of government.

SCYR-CRC’s top priority is to advocate for the Yonge Subway Extension from Finch Station to Richmond Hill Centre at Yonge/Highway 7, and it has prepared a survey to hear your views.  Please take the time to make YOUR voice heard by filling out the Survey no later than March 31, 2018.
