The David Dunlap Observatory (DDO) is an important site in Richmond Hill – rich in history with many cultural and natural heritage features. The DDO Master Plan will address more than 40 hectares (approximately 100 acres) of land on the site that was protected from development.

Richmond Hill is committed to ensuring the Town-owned DDO property continues to be a public amenity. The Town is seeking community input on the vision for the DDO site and its heritage buildings.
