Town staff advised me on Monday, November 28, 2016 that a Staff Report based on 90% completion of design of the Ed Sackfield Arena Expansion & David Hamilton Park Revitalization Project will be brought forward to the Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday, December 5, 2016 in preparation for issuing tender for construction work to begin 2017. At the Committee of the Whole meeting on December 5, 2016, I moved to have “the northwest quadrant park elements will be completed by July 1, 2018” added to the recommendations from staff so that the park with play equipment would not be closed for two consecutive summers.
